Back in 19th century there was a scientist experimenting with sound. However, he went missing under mysterious circumstances and all his work was lost in time. After years of searching, your team has finally uncovered the location of his long forgotten science laboratory.
What was he working on? What is this “Experiment” that is referenced in his notes? Can your team figure it out? Search for clues, solve puzzles, discover hidden things… do whatever it takes!
Keep in mind – you will need to perform an actual science experiment!

Room 5280 offered a very entertaining and decently challenging escape room experience for me and my friends. Our group of 6 did "The Experiment" room, and it seems like we did it in record time! Given 60 minutes for the escape, we finished in about 30 minutes. The puzzles were unique, and although I have done a few escape rooms before, there were several curve balls thrown that I had not seen prior to doing this room. Definitely excited to come back! Most importantly, though, is the excellent customer service that Room 5280 has. My group and I were originally scheduled to play a few weeks ago. Due to a highway being closed on that day, half of our group would have been unable to make it at that time. After I called to explain the situation, we were offered a credit to come back at another time. I thought this was completely fair and was glad that I didn't have to fight for this type of great customer service.

We had a great time. Our gamemaster (Kay) was awesome. We were so close to completion. The puzzles were all thoughtful and well done. We completed the experiment. It was great that we could do it with just the two of us, but three would have been ideal.Thank you Room 5280

We played the room Experiment with my husband and it was one of the best escape rooms we did in the US! The puzzles were creative, straightforward yet quite difficult. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

Shoutout to chuck!! They were awesome and made in the experience a lot of fun and was super easy going. Definitely was able to ease the nerves since my partner and I aren’t super experienced in escape rooms. We did “the experiment” and it super immersive and definitely a lot of cool functions and puzzles that I was NOT expecting, gave my partner a good surprise. 10/10 would recommend and if ever swing by give good ole’ chuck a hi five! Can’t express how awesome they were 🙂

We did "The Experiment" and escaped with ~2.5 minutes to spare. It was a super creative room with a lot of very neat and unique puzzles that I didn't see coming and was genuinely impressed by. Would highly recommend the room. The staff was very nice and pleasant, and we had a great time. They were a little pedantic about making us wear masks when taking the post-room picture which was a bit annoying, but at they were at least polite about it.

We had so much fun doing the 'Experiment' room! The clues did not require any prior knowledge and could be solved only based on logic and critical thinking. We will be coming back for sure!

Great escape room place! My group and I did The Experiment. It's a single room with 60 minutes to get out. Unlimited hints and the host drops some hints if...
We played Darkness and Experiment today as a two. Both are really great rooms - challenging and very enjoyable. The owners are also very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Thoroughly recommend any of their rooms based on what I saw - we're in the 30 odd game range, so we've seen a few! 🙂
